This past weekend the weather started horribly with non-stop rain on Saturday but cleared up on Sunday. It was perfect. I brought along an extra layer since it started out pretty chilly this morning. Luckily I didn't need it but kept it tied around my waist. I love a great plaid shirt and found some great options (below) for Fall.

We have had CRAZY weather the past few days here. There was a awful storm on Friday and it brought some cooler weather along with it. The cool breeze still hasn't stopped me from wearing my new spring favorites like this Gap dress. I love the bright floral pattern and I've already worn it work. The perfect spring dress in my book.

I purchased this vintage men's sweater many years ago but never wore it. Recently, I pulled it out to wear on a cool day and now I wear it all the time. I love the fit of this cardigan. It is the perfect piece to for the cool Spring nights ahead. I've already planned a raiding session in my bf's closet.

SPRING FORWARD

I love this time of year. Longer days, warmer weather, and the feeling of newness in the air. Spring is so close, and yet it seems so far away. I can't wait until I am able to ditch these tights and come home and sit in my living room with all the windows open.

SPORTY

These trousers are a recent purchase from Zara. I have been searching for the perfect pair of silk, slouchy slacks. I love that these pants are cut like jogging pants but the material makes them dressy enough to wear out. I've selected some of my favorites below:

It's the last day of January already. I always feel like after January is over, the whole year just flies right by. I'm still working hard on these New Year's Resolutions. How are you doing with your 2013 list of goals?

Confession. I'm not a coat person. I will wear 2384793284 layers before I wear a bulky coat. What I do love however, is a  lightweight jacket I can wear for work or play. I'm loving neon knits for fall and winter. I have this same sweater in neon pink (seen here). They are the perfect pop in these cold temps and for $12 a pop, I'm waiting for more colors. 

BLACK FRIDAY
