I am still recovering from my Thanksgiving break. My family came over to my house and ate Thanksgiving dinner. The week before I finally was able to get some things organized. I sorted my jewelry, added some additional shelving to my closet, and added some new furniture for storage. Yesterday my mom and I stopped by our favorite vintage store at home and they had some great mid century pieces. I'm excited to add some new pieces to my place.

I'm so excited that July 4th is this Thursday. We are grilling out with friends on the 4th and I've pretty much left the rest of the long weekend open for spending time with friends and family. I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday!

No Dear Weekend post today since I practically repeated last weekend and sat by the pool all day. Father's Day is this Sunday. My dad has always said that he doesn't want gifts for any holiday. He only wants our love. This year however, I want to get him a really great gift because he really deserves it. He's a hardcore boxing fan who stays up every night to watch matches. The Joe Frazier vs. Mohammed Ali poster would be amazing. The shoe polish and brush set is also a close second.

DEAR (LONG) WEEKEND

The weekend is still going on but it has already been fun. My little cousin's 2nd birthday party was on Saturday and we had a cookout on Sunday. Today I'll be hanging out, getting rest, and maybe going to the movies.
