SCALLOPED

Asos shirt with dramatic ruffle (similar in black), J.Crew matchstick jeans (similar coated version), Nine West x Instyle heels, Asos satchel bag with scallop bar detail (available in cream here), Madewell bracelet, vintage hoops + watch, Revlon lipstick in "Fuchsia"

I love this bag from Asos. It's large enough for me to use for work and fit in my large collection of pens, highlighters, post-its, etc. (I love office supplies). I wore this outfit earlier in the day when it was still warm but threw on a sweater and my Gap ombre moto jacket (last seen here) when it started to rain and get colder. I think it's safe to say these snakeskin pumps have become a staple in my closet.

BABY BLUE + HENRIETTA

Zara cropped top,  Zara faux leather tube skirt, Nine West x Instyle Gamin Heels, Asos spiked hoop earrings (similar here), Madewell bracelet, vintage watch + clutch, Revlon nail polish in "Siren"

This weekend I picked up my new puppy! I have been wanting a puppy for a few years now and after a couple opportunities to adopt fell through, I found my new Schnoodle, Henrietta. She has done so well her first day and she will be starting obedience training soon! The hardest thing so far is finding cool, unique things for her (and potty training, of course!). I will be sharing some of her favorite things soon.

This weekend I took Henrietta out and enjoyed some of the warmer weather. With Spring comes pastels. Although I have never really been a fan of light blue, I am finding myself drawn to it more this season. I purchased this cropped blouse and faux leather pencil skirt from Zara a few weeks ago and plan to mix them into my work wardrobe. Also, I have been searching for the perfect snakeskin pumps that I could also wear to work. I finally found this pair from the Nine West x Instyle collaboration. If you are searching for something similar, you should check these out. Nine West shoes are always comfortable and last forever.

PINSTRIPE + LEATHER

Zara skirt, forever 21 tank,  J.Crew pinstripe super 120s blazer, Shoemint heels (old; similar here), Madewell + J.Crew bracelets, ASOS spiked hoop earrings, vintage watch

We had a little taste of Spring on Sunday. It worked out perfectly since I was getting over being sick on Saturday. I recently purchased this skirt from Zara because I thought I could wear it with tights now and without later. Looks like I didn't have to wait too long. Unfortunately it looks like we have a couple couple snow storms headed our way. I hate to complain but I can't take another day of snow.

CROPPED

Asos crop sweater (similar here), Rebecca Taylor coat (old), Arden B. skirt (old. Similar here), Zara heels & bag, vintage watch and bracelet

This weekend I helped my dad organize his closet and introduced him to Spotify. I've been listening to James Brown and Stevie Wonder all weekend. I wore this out to brunch on Sunday to Print Works Bistro. They have the most amazing profiteroles.

HIGH TOP

Madewell skinny skinny coated jeans (on sale here); J.Crew turtleneck + blazer; Loeffler Randall Octavia high tops (in tan and suede); Madewell cambridge satchel (here in navy); Asos spiked hoop earrings (here under $10)

I wore this on Sunday when I went to grab lunch with my family. I searched high and low for these Loeffler Randall high tops but they were sold out everywhere. On a whim I thought to check ebay and see if anyone had listed them. Luckily, there was one pair in my size. Fashion fate.

GREEN.

Rebecca Taylor coat (old; similar here), Gap jeans (DIY distressed; similar here), KenzieGirl sweater, Zara handbag, ASOS foil beanie (similar), Zara heels

I'm trying to add more green to my wardrobe. My favorite shade has to be emerald. I wrote about it here. It really looks great on all skin tones.

What colors are you trying to wear more?

PLAID PENCIL

ASOS skirt, Madewell blouse (similar here), forever 21 sweater (similar here), vintage leather pouch, Aldo pumps (similar here), vintage watch, Revlon "Vixen" nail polish

I've been on the search for a plaid pencil skirt for a while. I've seen options everywhere but settled on this one because of the ruffle detail. With a closet full of pencil skirts, I'm always looking for something a little different.

Check out some other plaid pencil skirts here:

GREEN LEOPARD WITH BORN MAJESTIC

Outfit 1 // Born Majestic top ℅, Madewell blouse, J.Crew blazer, Gap cropped trousers, Gap trench, Zara pumps, vintage watch, Nosilla Vintage aviators
Outfit 2 // Born Majestic skirt ℅, ASOS top, J.Crew blazer, DV Dolce Vita sandals, vintage watch

The older I get the more I find myself wanting more unique pieces. About a year ago, Born Majestic was born. Majesty Timberlake, Born Majestic's founder and Creative Director, is a former college classmate of mine. Her lifelong passion for fashion and desire to offer accessible fashion led her to create the online boutique.

Born Majestic offers fashion-forward styles for every budget. Majesty handpicks every piece she offers in the store from designers such as Ark & Co. to Rubber Ducky. What I love most is the limited quantity offered. Once an item sells out, it's gone. I can purchase an item I love and not worry about seeing it on everyone when I walk out the door. I can't wait to get my hands on some other pieces. What says New Year's Eve more than this dress? Little black dresses are great but I prefer a chic black jumpsuit like this one.

Keep up with Majesty and all Born Majestic happenings here:

OMBRE MOTO

Gap ombre wool moto jacket (here 35% off with code OFFER4U; other colors here), Madewell blouse, Kenzie Girl sweater, love skirt via ASOS (similar here), Hue tights, Zara heels, Madewell bag (other color here), Revlon "Fuchsia" lipstick

The weather was nuts here over the last three days. On Friday it was a balmy 75 degreed. By Sunday we had freezing rain. I'm glad I was able to get this wool jacket (which I talked about here) from Gap by the time the cold weather started rolling in. It's surprisingly a lot warmer than I thought it would be. I'll admit that I initially attracted to the jacket because of the cool ombre effect. I loved dressing it up and can't wear to pair it with more casual pieces.
