This past weekend the weather started horribly with non-stop rain on Saturday but cleared up on Sunday. It was perfect. I brought along an extra layer since it started out pretty chilly this morning. Luckily I didn't need it but kept it tied around my waist. I love a great plaid shirt and found some great options (below) for Fall.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect plaid wool blazer for the last few years. I can never find one that I like and on the rare occasion that I do, it's always sold out. I found this blazer at Gap recently and I love the red accents. I wore it this day with a tee and cords but I've also worn it to work over a work dress and with navy and black trousers. You know how I love pieces that can work double duty. 

On another note, aren't these vintage earrings amazing? They look like two earrings on each ear. I'm not sure what colors I want to paint these yet. Look out for them in the store when I finally decide.

What do all of these have in common? They're types of plaid! Aaaaaand, they should be in your close this fall! I actually really like plaid, especially when it's paired with unexpected fabrics like silk or when it's created using sequins! Here's some suggestions when you go shopping the trend or if you just need a little inspiration.
