EYELET

When warmer temperatures hit, I love to throw on dresses for work or date night. Nothing says Spring/Summer more than an easy, breezy eyelet dress. This Spring you can find eyelet on everything (think unexpected pieces like baseball caps (here) and jumpsuits (here). I'm excited to make this old favorite new again.

Check out my favorite eyelet pieces below:

TASSEL

Zara Baby Doll Dress (also in red here), J.Crew Falsetto Pumps, Forever 21 necklaces, Vintage Clutch + Watch, Essie Nail Polish in "Bikini So Teeny

I wore this outfit to my mom's birthday brunch. I love the little tassels on these J.Crew shoes. I purchased these soon after I purchased the strappy mirrored metallic pumps from J.Crew. I found that their shoes are very comfortable. I would order a half size up. Can you believe these necklaces are from forever 21? I layered three of their necklaces. I love going there for trendy jewelry. I hate spending a lot of money on anything trendy. These three necklaces were $16 total!

BABY BLUE + HENRIETTA

Zara cropped top,  Zara faux leather tube skirt, Nine West x Instyle Gamin Heels, Asos spiked hoop earrings (similar here), Madewell bracelet, vintage watch + clutch, Revlon nail polish in "Siren"

This weekend I picked up my new puppy! I have been wanting a puppy for a few years now and after a couple opportunities to adopt fell through, I found my new Schnoodle, Henrietta. She has done so well her first day and she will be starting obedience training soon! The hardest thing so far is finding cool, unique things for her (and potty training, of course!). I will be sharing some of her favorite things soon.

This weekend I took Henrietta out and enjoyed some of the warmer weather. With Spring comes pastels. Although I have never really been a fan of light blue, I am finding myself drawn to it more this season. I purchased this cropped blouse and faux leather pencil skirt from Zara a few weeks ago and plan to mix them into my work wardrobe. Also, I have been searching for the perfect snakeskin pumps that I could also wear to work. I finally found this pair from the Nine West x Instyle collaboration. If you are searching for something similar, you should check these out. Nine West shoes are always comfortable and last forever.

BRIGHT BLAZERS

Like a great pencil skirt, I love a great blazer. Both pieces can easily be transitioned from desk to drinks. Because I have so many blazers in my closet, I often try and find them in unique colors, patterns, or fabrics.

I've compiled a list of my favorite colorful blazers:

CHIC PASTELS

I really despise cold weather. After Christmas and NYE, I'm pretty much ready for Spring. It doesn't help that stores fill with warm weather clothes as soon as the new year starts. I've been looking at pretty pastel things and dreaming of warmer days to come. Here are some of my favorites below:

CAP

Target cap (from the boys' department. Similar here), Madewell jeans, Forever 21 tank, J.Crew blazer, Zara heels, Madewell bracelet + ring, vintage watch, Nosilla vintage aviators, Revlon "Really Red" lipstick

I recently found this cute baseball cap in the boys' department at Target. I am always looking for a great hat for those days when I need to get ready quickly. It saves me a lot of time to just throw on a hat and head out. Luckily this season hats, especially chic baseball caps, are on trend. There are so many options out there from luxe fabrics like leather and wool, to cool adornments like spikes and jewels. I've shared my picks below:

CAPES + OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS

Two things on my fall wishlist are a great wool cape and a pair of over-the-knee boots. I love how great they look paired together. I've picked some of my favorites below:

METALLIC

Tinley Road skirt via piperlime, Gap turtleneck, Zara heels, Aldo clutch, Nosilla vintage sunglasses, vintage watch, h&m ring

I love this metallic skirt I scored from Piperlime. It is a great shade of rose gold and I can't help but think that it would make a great addition to my holiday party options. I picked some great metallic skirts  that I love:

LOW SLEEK PONYTAIL

Loving a low, sleek ponytail these days. My hair has grown out and I always feel like I wear more styles when my hair is longer. Here are the products below that I use to get the look:

WEEKENDER

Gap jeans and sweater, Zara shoes (old; similar here), Bitten SJP blouse (old; similar below), Gap leather wallet, forever 21 earrings, vintage watch, Revlon lipstick in "really red"

This past weekend the weather started horribly with non-stop rain on Saturday but cleared up on Sunday. It was perfect. I brought along an extra layer since it started out pretty chilly this morning. Luckily I didn't need it but kept it tied around my waist. I love a great plaid shirt and found some great options (below) for Fall.

IRIDESCENT

This summer I loved the cool, reflective sunglasses that became the "it" eyewear. Now, I've been seeing iridescent everywhere. From clothes, to accessories, to beauty products, you can wear a little or a lot. I personally prefer a touch here or there. Perhaps I'll wear it on my nails this fall. I have a great polish that will fit the bill.

Are you feeling this trend?

NAVY LEATHER

One thing that has been catching my eye lately is all the navy leather items I've been seeing around. I have always been a fan of navy but never really considered how great the color looks on a great structured bag or moto jacket. It offers a great, subtle departure from traditional black. I'm really liking that Gap tote. It would make a great work bag.

CUT OFFS

Cut-offs are as hot this summer as ever! I love all of these streetstyle photos showing how all these ladies styled their pair. Check out some of my pics below:
