LOEFFLER RANDALL: SPRING/SUMMER 2014

I discovered Loeffler Randall a few years ago. Although I admired the line, I only recently purchased a pair of LR shoes. I've been wearing my LR Octavia high tops non-stop this fall/winter (you can see them in this post). They are so comfortable and unique. They are definitely the chicest pair of sneakers I've ever owned. Now that the Spring 2014 collection has debuted, I want to add another pair and a handbag, perhaps. One thing that has been catching my eye lately is all the navy leather items I've been seeing around. I have always been a fan of navy but never really considered how great the color looks on a great structured bag or moto jacket. It offers a great, subtle departure from traditional black. I'm really liking that Gap tote. It would make a great work bag.

I love Mother's Day gifts. I think it's the one time where you can buy something your mommy can indulge in. I personally won't buy my mom something that I wouldn't want to borrow.

LUCITE CLUTCH

Although I carry a very large bag almost everyday, I prefer to wear clutches when I can. Since they are often small, I love when I find one in a fun color, print, or material. I really love all the lucite clutches I have been seeing lately. The clear clutches with small pouches inside are great. You get the look without exposing all your business!

Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag in "Citrus Yellow"

I want a new bag for the Spring/Summer. I'm looking for a bright color and fun details. This Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag has those elements. It has this beautiful, fun yellow color and the studded bottom that made their Rocco Bag so popular. Bucket bags are making a comeback this season. J.Crew's Tillary Bucket Bag is a more affordable option sans the studs (boo). It came in an awesome "Moroccan Yellow" leather but it has sold out twice even while on back order. Hears to hoping J.Crew replenishes their stock and/or a lot of people return it. A girl can dream.
