LOEFFLER RANDALL: SPRING/SUMMER 2014

I discovered Loeffler Randall a few years ago. Although I admired the line, I only recently purchased a pair of LR shoes. I've been wearing my LR Octavia high tops non-stop this fall/winter (you can see them in this post). They are so comfortable and unique. They are definitely the chicest pair of sneakers I've ever owned. Now that the Spring 2014 collection has debuted, I want to add another pair and a handbag, perhaps. COLORFULLY CHIC: COBALT BLUE

For the third installment of Colorfully Chic, I chose a color that I think everyone loves, cobalt blue. The color blue invokes a feeling of calm and serenity. Other than navy, one of my favorite shades of blue is cobalt. It is so striking and bold which sets it apart from pretty much any other shade of the hue. NIKE BLAZER HI SUEDE VINTAGE

It's time for me to add a new pair of simple sneakers to my closet. I have officially worn my chucks into oblivion. I'm really loving the Nike Blazer Hi Suede Vintage sneaker. The high top and suede material make it the perfect choice for fall. All the colors have been marked down here. They are going fast.

This summer I loved the cool, reflective sunglasses that became the "it" eyewear. Now, I've been seeing iridescent everywhere. From clothes, to accessories, to beauty products, you can wear a little or a lot. I personally prefer a touch here or there. Perhaps I'll wear it on my nails this fall. I have a great polish that will fit the bill.

One thing that has been catching my eye lately is all the navy leather items I've been seeing around. I have always been a fan of navy but never really considered how great the color looks on a great structured bag or moto jacket. It offers a great, subtle departure from traditional black. I'm really liking that Gap tote. It would make a great work bag.

When I was growing up, the weeks leading up to school were always my favorite. Back to School was so exciting for me. It might have to do with my love of office supplies. Now that I'm an adult and there is no more school, I still feel so giddy when I see commercials on TV advertising backpacks and notebooks. 

If I was going back to school, I would want all the above.

No Dear Weekend post today since I practically repeated last weekend and sat by the pool all day. Father's Day is this Sunday. My dad has always said that he doesn't want gifts for any holiday. He only wants our love. This year however, I want to get him a really great gift because he really deserves it. He's a hardcore boxing fan who stays up every night to watch matches. The Joe Frazier vs. Mohammed Ali poster would be amazing. The shoe polish and brush set is also a close second.
