NEUTRAL EYESHADOW: TOP 5 PALETTES

In college I experimented a lot with makeup and I really loved trying different color eyeshadows. You would often find me wearing bright purple or turquoise. Although I still love adding color here and there, I've edited my makeup collection down to a few classics. I often wear neutral makeup colors during the week for work and reserve bright colors for the weekend. Luckily for me (and you!), nearly every cosmetic brand has introduced a line of neutral eyeshadows. I have shared my top 5 palettes above. Each palette flatters every skin tone and can be used to achieve several different looks.

SAKS 5TH AVENUE: 2014 SPRING BEAUTY WEEK

On Thursday of last week, I ventured over to the Raleigh Saks for a Spring Beauty Preview. The store is currently having it's Spring Beauty Week (Feb. 20th - March 1st). When I was growing up, the weeks leading up to school were always my favorite. Back to School was so exciting for me. It might have to do with my love of office supplies. Now that I'm an adult and there is no more school, I still feel so giddy when I see commercials on TV advertising backpacks and notebooks.
