I've never been a big fan of coats. I only own about four. Lately I have started wanted to add more coats to my wardrobe. When I saw this Zara waistcoat, I thought it was so different from what else I have in my closet. It's heavy like a coat with it's wool base and faux fur collar, but it's the perfect layering piece.

The older I get the more I find myself wanting more unique pieces. About a year ago, Born Majestic was born. Majesty Timberlake, Born Majestic's founder and Creative Director, is a former college classmate of mine. I can't wait to get my hands on some other pieces. What says New Year's Eve more than this dress? Little black dresses are great but I prefer a chic black jumpsuit like this one.

WHITE SHIRT

I own several white button up shirts. It is definitely an essential for every girl's closet. When I see one with interesting details like this one from ASOS, I jump on it. I love the cute pom poms and the dipped back. It's far more casual than the ones I own for work.

You know how I much I love pencil skirts. This has to be the most comfortable pencil skirt I own. It was perfect for a weekend out and about.

I love this time of year. Longer days, warmer weather, and the feeling of newness in the air. Spring is so close, and yet it seems so far away. I can't wait until I am able to ditch these tights and come home and sit in my living room with all the windows open.

Do you ever have a color that you like but never really wear? That's the color red for me. I hardly ever wear the color even though I like it. When I saw these pants and blazer from Gap, I scooped them up! They were perfect for casual days at work and great for play.

The weather this past weekend was beyond perfect. I wore my favorite leather shorts to grab shaved ice and run errands with my little brother.

I've had this vest since NYE last year. I never wore it and figured with temperatures on the rise and mid March already here, I better wear it soon. Luckily it is light as a feather and almost resembles them. With it's knit fabric the back it isn't bulky and perfect for layering. How cute is that clutch by the way? With the new neon craze, bright accessories are very easy to find. Target has some amazing options including this wallet/clutch. What fall/winter pieces are you trying to get your final wear out of?
