I've wanted this crop top for a while now. Zara carried it in white this summer and it has since sold out. Now they are carrying it in black for late summer early fall. Even though crop tops don't scream "workwear," I figured it couldn't hurt to figure out a way to pair with work clothes and make it office appropriate. Then I thought, why not pair it with a neutral blouse almost like a vest. You can wear a long sleeve blouse or sleeveless blouse depending on how conservative your office is. Also, pairing it with a black blouse would create a subtle monochromatic look. For the weekend look I lost the blouse and kept it simple. I really like pairing crop tops with high-waisted bottoms. It keeps you from showing too much skin.
